Flex version 7.54.0.0 is now available
The RFT (Ready For Tuning) service for Bosch MD1CS004 (HW 05L907309AA) control units is now available for OBD programming.
The new Flex update 7.54.0.0 has just been released, allowing you to manage the unlocking of protected ECUs installed on numerous VAG Group vehicles with 2.0L TDI engines produced between 2022 and 2024.
How RFT works
To have an ECU unlocked:
- Open a dedicated ticket via your Helpdesk account and follow the instructions
- Ship the ECU to us
- Our team will securely perform the certified unlocking.
- You will receive the ready for programming ECU.
What is the RFT service?
The RFT – Ready For Tuning service enables you to perform advanced operations on protected ECUs once the unlock procedure is completed, making them available for reading and writing via Flex.

The service is available for:
- Full Master Licenses
- Full Slave Licenses
- Active RFT Licenses
Costs
- 150 Green Coins per unlock
For active Master customers: Up to 1 free unlock per month through the Green Coins included in your subscription
