MAGICMOTORSPORT protects your work with MAGIC Lock

    MAGICMOTORSPORT protects your work!

With FLEX version 4.0.0.0 we offer you the chance to use an exclusive service completely free of charge: MAGIC Lock denies access to the files inside the ECUs to everybody who is not authorized. From today MEDC17, Simos 12 and Simos 18, after MAGIC Lock, may have their password reading function disabled in bench and boot modes. Your services and solutions won’t be copied any more.

ECU can be restored only by who knows the personal password set by who applies the patch, and he must also own a FLEX.

Furthermore, Bench mode will be entirely inaccessible (any attempt to access to it will fail) as long as MAGIC LOCK is active. Only who has the personal password from the original user who applied the patch and owns the MAGICMOTORSPORT programmer will be able to read the content in boot. Writing by OBD will be possible as usual.

    New protocols added:

After writing the mod file you prefer, you can select it to protect it (through a customized password) from reading in Boot mode, from reading ECU’s password and even from doing anything in Bench mode. You can only reverse the procedure in boot using the original Flex tool or another Flex user if he is aware of your customized password.
